Rosenthal, accompanied by friends and family, travels to locations such as Tel Aviv, Mexico City, New Orleans, and Bangkok to sample the local cuisine and culture at each stop.

2. Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend (Premieres June 15, 2022)

Five new Iron Chefs will compete against Challenger Chefs in the spectacular Kitchen Stadium in Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend. “The competition’s most successful challenger will return to combat in a grand finale for the chance to be named the first ever ‘Iron Legend,'” according to the official synopsis. Top Chef Season 10 winner Kristen Kish joins Alton Brown as a co-host. Mark Dacascos is also returning, hopefully to reveal the secret components once more. Let’s hope there’s at least one cameo appearance by Takeshi Kaga, the original Iron Chef host, who takes a large bite out of a bell pepper. This is undoubtedly one of the best new cooking shows of 2022.

3. Is It Cake? (Premiered March 18, 2022)

A show that is part baking competition, part game show, and part hyperrealist art exhibit. The enormous creative potential of cakes that realistically imitate anything except cakes fascinates us the most. 4. Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives. (Premiered March 16, 2022)

Director Chris Smith’s Netflix docuseries Bad Vegan: Fame, Fraud, and Fugitives will premiere in 2022. It details how Sarma Melngailis, a vegan restaurateur, unlawfully transferred funds to her husband so he could pay a deity to grant them immortality. The series follows Sarma Melngailis, the former proprietor of the vegan restaurant Pure Food and Wine in New York City. Sarma met and married conman Anthony Strangis (also known as Shane Fox), who she claims pushed her into stealing money from her own restaurant and then fleeing the authorities. 5. MeatEater (Premiered February 2, 2022)

Fans of “MeatEater” must have a strong appetite as well as a willing palate. Steven Rinella, an avid outdoorsman, author, and TV personality, hunts a broad variety of animals throughout his thrilling and demanding experiences, from hunting turkey in Florida and elk in Kentucky to grizzlies in British Columbia and antelope in New Mexico. 6. Heavenly Bites: Mexico (Premiered January 19, 2022)
